JOB TITLE: SECURITY GUARD
LOCATION:Dublin 7
TERMS: Part Time Permanent Contract (subject to 6 month probation
period)

ABOUT US:
We are a Community Resource Centre in North Dublin City that provides
supports to people and organisations in the Markets area.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The purpose of the role is to ensure that the Macro Centre is a safe
and secure environment for staff, resident groups and visitors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To open and close the Centre when required including evenings and
weekends.
* To ensure the safety of everyone using the premises according to
the guidelines in the company?s health and safety policy.
* To ensure compliance with companies recycling policy.
* To man the reception area outside normal hours and patrol the
premises regularly.
* To check emergency lighting, extinguishers and hose reels.
* To report maintenance faults or repairs.
* To monitor security cameras.
* To deal with any other tasks required.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
* Private Security Licence- however we are willing to provide
training and license fee to the right candidate (terms and conditions
will apply).
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Good problem solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Understanding of Health and Safety and Fire Safety procedures.
